Mike Cooper

Mike Cooper is a British voice talent who uprooted his successful voiceover business from London and transplanted it to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina in late 2014.

His decades of UK broadcast experience (across both TV and radio, and on both sides of the control room glass) include ten years with the world’s largest radio station – the BBC World Service, along with a seven-year run as a network voice for HISTORY. With countless corporate, commercial and documentary credits under his belt, he’s a familiar voice to millions.

Now based outside Asheville, NC, Mike enjoys the 17-yard commute from his log cabin to his studio (complete with mountain views and pet goats) and works extensively on e-Learning and training projects, explainer and corporate videos, TV and radio commercials and promos.

Somehow, he also finds time to host for his local NPR station, whose listeners seem to have fallen in love with his British accent…
